Extension of stay
1. In case of change E9 to E7 before 1,Aug.,2017, the exact name of visa has been E7-1.
When E7-1 holders extend their visa, it will be applied to E7-4 policy from 1,January,2019.
The exisiting E7-1 rules will be followed untill 31, Dec.,2018
It would be better for the persons with E7-1 to manage their score from now on.
2. E7-4 holders will be approved by evaluation based on over 52points when extension of visa for each time.
This news has already been announced
Even if you get E7-4, you still need to care about your score.
3. In case of Excellent enterprise of Employment system, it will be allowed when meet the condition of companies and workers.
When meet the conditions of companies and employee, extension will be also allowed.
4. When a labor contract of E7-4 holders is terminated, it will be able to change company.
A new company needs to meet the employment requirements
5. If you can not work due to the company's responsibility, such as closing, shutting down or overdue wage, it is possible to change company even if the labor contract is not finished.
However, a new company needs to meet the employment requirements.
6.When the labot contract is terminated normally, it can be changed to D-10 visa.
You need to get a job for a new company within 3 months after change D-10 visa
If it does not be employed for 3months, it will be possible to extend for extra 3months. Therefore, you can look for a job for 6months maximum.
7.When you are hired with D-10visa, you can get E7-4visa.
However, it will be allowed based on your score. So managing score is very important.
Especially you have to be careful that salary point will be going down or zero point because of no salary during job seeking activities.
This policy change shall be good over all.
So in conclusion, E7-4 holders need to care and check their points always.
